As I have been busy working on a show, I had missed something of interest. Sometime a week or so ago CNN.com, CNNmoney.com and SI.com all switched from using Google to Yahoo as there search provider. Searching around I came across a news.com article about it from early April:
Yahoo subsidiary Overture Services has signed licensing deals with the online legs of the Cable News Network, ESPN and The Wall Street Journal, adding fuel to its rivalry with search leader Google.Yahoo seems to be clawing back some of the business it lost to Google. Will be interesting to see if any more follow suit.
